In a recent survey of about 3000 employers, eighteen percent of them plan to hire temporary workers for the upcoming season. Forty-four percent of those interviewed plan to pay around $10.00 an hour, twelve percent to pay $16.00 or more and hour, thirty-four percent to pay between $8.00-$10.00 and hour and twenty percent to pay $6.00-$8.00 an hour. Although these wages are not ideal, holidays are busy and getting started through temporary employment is a great strategic tool.
